Context for my course structure:

  1. I complete the IA at the end of Year 1

    I have prioritised stoichiometry, enthalpy changes, and kinetics early in the course.

  2. Minimal fragmentation of subtopics

    Keeping individual subtopics intact helps with the organisation of resources and allows for easier tracking of content coverage.

  3. I teach combined SL/HL classes

    I teach combined SL/HL classes with the additional complication that in Year 2, SL students lose 1 class per week, and HL students gain 1. For this reason, most of the subtopics in Year 1 consist primarily of SL content. In Year 2, things are a little messier than they seem in the structure below.
